Following instruction is for how to Flash Huawei Official Firmware on Huawei Android smartphones and Tablets. This method is like that Android stock recovery via OTA Firmware.
Requirements: Your device must be need have 3050 percent battery chargeable. Need a 4GB Memory card (recommended) and correct Stock Firmware.
Note: Before Installing Huawei Stock Firmware Incorrect build version can brick your device so make sure you download the device same current build version.
Make sure you have downloaded the desired Stock Firmware from our firmware section or official shared. Custom ROM and other developed ROM will violate device warranty. So be careful about that and Official ROM never damage your device warranty so never confused.
The Huawei OTA Firmwares comes with two extension which is UPDATE.APP and Update.zip. flashing process is same for both.
How To Flash Huawei Official Firmware
Step 1: Download Firmware for your Huawei smartphone or Tablets and extract it in Computer or SD card. After extracting you will see these file.
Step 2: Create a new folder in SD / Memory card rename it to dload then copy the UPDATE.APP file and paste it in dload folder.
Step 3: Turn Power off your device and press hold Volume UP + Volume Down + Power Buttons together for 58 seconds. Don’t release them until the Firmware update process isn’t started automatically.
Step 4: The installation process may takes up to 510 minutes and don’t remove battery and SD card from device at this time. Once the update process is complete your device will reboot automatically and it ready to use.
How To Flash Manual
If update process not staring automatic then follow these steps.
Step 1: Enter device to recovery mode by pressing Volume UP / Down + Power button. Some device recovery mode in Volume UP button and some is Down button.
Step 2: Navigate menu to apply update from SD card using Volume keys and select the dload folder from Memory card root by using Power key.
Other steps is same following above instruction. If device boot loop after Upgrade or Downgrade Firmware then wipe data or factory reset
